Q: Are you available on my wedding day?

A: Booking in advance as soon as possible is the best way to ensure we  are available on the day you need. There is a 20% non-refundable deposit to hold your date. If you also plan on having your wedding during busy and popular times of the year, a good idea is to book 12-18 months early! For questions or to make your appointment,

Q; Is your online ordering secure?

A: Yes. Kevin Kramer Photography provides you with safe, secure online print orders.

Q: Do you have any liability insurance?

A: Yes. We carry liability insurance to every event we do. However, I am happy to say that I hope we never feel the need to use this.

Q: When do we shoot the engagement session?

A: The engagement session takes place a few months before the wedding where the three of us meet up and photograph you and your fiancé in a setting of your choosing. Not only is this a fun time for us all, but it’s also a great time to get comfortable with me as your photographer  and get to know me personally and with regards to my photographic style. If you want to, after the wedding as well, can book a “Trash the Dress” session as well.

Q: Is a deposit required? And if there is, how much?

A: A deposit or retainer is required to save the date of your event. The deposit is 20% of the cost of your package, with two remaining payments to be made; one half way between the initial deposit, and the final payment 14 days prior to your event date.

Q: How many hours of photography coverage will I receive on my wedding day?

A: We do not charge by the hour; we shoot by the package, which gives us the ability to go from one location to another without additional charges.

Q: If I choose a digital only package, how soon will I get my DVD?

A: If you were to choose our digital only package, you will receive them 3-4 weeks after your wedding day during non peak season. There is a turnaround time of 5-6 weeks during the peak wedding season.

Q: What are your policies regarding the DVD of the photos that I will get?

A: Each DVD that I create for you will include three different folders. The first folder includes all of your raw files. That is every photo that we take during your day. The second folder is the final proofs, where I take the majority of the raw files, and color correct, crop, enhance and place up on a password protected website for proofing. The third folder includes resized, watermarked photos for online sharing (ie. Facebook, Myspace, personal blogs) for sharing.

Each package includes a license to print out your digital photos at a resolution up to 8×10. We recommend  that any larger than that having us print them with professional high quality lab printers.

Q: Wedding albums are not included in your package. Are they available?

A: Yes. Wedding albums are available in both the traditional style and contemporary storybook style. Album prices range from $300 – $3,000. I will work with you to develop a custom wedding album to fit your budget. Albums can be ordered at anytime in the months and years after your wedding.

Q: What’s a DVD Slideshow?

A: A DVD slideshow is a great way to share your photos, and can be played in any DVD player that projects your photos of your event and also includes music.

Q: Is it important to meet the photographer prior to my decision to hire a photographer?

A: Given technology today, it is tempting to look for and hook a photographer over the internet and telephone. We believe that in meeting together that we can give you our full detailed attention and you can learn who we are as both a photographer and a friend. Our main goal if you hire us is to feel comfortable with us! We will spend the whole of the day with you and that is why a personal pre-wedding meeting is necessary. With the Extended package and Ultimate packages as well, we offer complimentary engagement photos so you can feel even more comfortable with our style and personalities!

Q: So is this your full time gig?

A: At this time no. Which is why my prices are reasonable. Full time photographers rely on their packages to be their main source of income, you will see that reflected in their packages/prices. I do have a day job to take care of insurance for my family, however I do have the flexibility to take time off if your wedding day falls on anytime during the week.
